Dust jacket chipped at head of spine and corners, showing general edgewear; not price clipped ($2.00); in an archival mylar sleeve.  

Dominique Dunois, pseudonym of Marguerite Lemesle (1876-1952), was the winner of the 1928 Prix Femina. A Lover Returns was originally published in France in 1931 under the title La Belle Journee and was translated by the novelist Edwin Granberry.
