The lens includes a Canon EOS EF mount and is a manual focus lens. Focusing is adjusted manually, but exposure is automatically done by the camera.

Please be aware of lower quality products available online that look similar but generally suffer from poor quality control with issues including but not limited to:

• Lens elements not moulded correctly or with large bubbles in the glass.
  
  
• Focusing rings that are far too tight making focusing difficult or impossible, as the entire front of the lens rotates along with the focus ring.
  
  
• Zoom lock rings that do not tighten adequately, again, meaning the entire front of the lens will rotate instead of just the focus ring.
  
  
• Lenses with assembly errors including misalignment and cross threaded components. 
  
  
• Mount adapters not aligned correctly, so that the lens markings are off to the side or even underneath the lens when it's attached to the camera.
