4) IBC adapter with a sealing ring and sturdy ball tap is compatible with a standard 1/2" (13mm) hose connector. The buttress thread is S60X6.

5) An S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60 mm across from thread edge to thread edge and has a 6 mm pitch (distance between the threads).

6) Can be used as a quick contact switch, which is for the IBC ton valve, also can be used as a useful backup safety valve, or for fine flow control, effectively preventing the faucet from due to high internal pressure.

7) If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20% are not) you can purchase a Buttress Thread Converter which will convert the thread to the S60X6 you will require.
