Circa 1890 cabinet black walnut and pine. The curator at the Gettysburg Museum reviewed the pictures and advised me that it was circa 1890. The sides are made of one piece of pine and everything else is black walnut.
It stands 32 inches from the bottom to the top of carving which is not original and was carved by  a master carver at quite an expense. Front to back is 26 inches and the top is 27 1/2 inches from one end to the other. The drawer is 3/4 inch solid wood 15 7/8 inches long ,11 inches wide and 3 inches deep. There is one shelf that is adjustable which is not original. The door is beveled.
I did not refinish the back  which is original tongue and grove boards.  The inside was not refinished either.
This piece was put together with square nails and where I took pieces apart or made new pieces
I used square nails as well. This piece was in terrible condition before I began refinishing.
The buyer will be making arrangements for shipping. I will assist as much as possible.
