 It is made with the high technique of traditional craftsmen.
 This is a product that is painstakingly finished one by one by the hands of traditional craftsmen of Tada Keikan, a long-established lacquer ware manufacturer in Yamanaka founded in 1877.

Yamanaka Lacquerware
 The origin of Yamanaka lacquerware is said to have started about 450 years ago when the technique of grinding was introduced from Echizen.
 Yamanaka lacquer ware is characterized by its diverse and delicate finishes, ranging from traditional patterns of flowers, birds, wind, and the moon to geometric patterns.

Each piece of Honkin Maki-e is hand-painted.
 Gold and silver powders are sprinkled on the surface of each piece of lacquer ware with great skill and care. The advanced techniques that add a sense of elegance and luxury are done by hand one by one by traditional craftsmen.

The shape is soft and calm.
The high quality design reminiscent of a kogo(incense container), a kind of tea utensil, brings out the beauty of Honkin Maki-e even more. If you put it in the attached chirimen drawstring, you can carry it when you travel or go out.
