Katoshippo and Katoshippo Works
 Cloisonne enamel ware is produced by applying a glassy glaze to the surface of metal and baking it, and is characterized by its gorgeous and elegant designs. In the late Edo period (1603-1868), Tsunekichi Kaji taught himself the art of cloisonne enamel ware using a foreign-made cloisonne dish as a clue, and this is said to be the beginning of modern cloisonne enamel ware. In the Meiji period (1868-1912), the fascination of cloisonne enamel ware spread overseas, and the industry flourished.  The lid is tightened firmly by the threading process using Tsubame City's sophisticated technology.
The bottom is covered with felt to prevent damage to the place where it is placed.
