The Connecticut Evangelical Magazine was a monthly publication that served to give the audience new articles on different aspects of religious life for those involved in the Evangelical community. The publications span many topics and have many authors, providing a large amount of different perspectives. The magazine was founded by Nathan Strong in 1800, two years after Strong became chief organizer of the Connecticut Missionary Society. The publication would go on for fifteen volumes. Issues with the covers and spine could provide an excellent opportunity for rebinding and restoration, if desired.
