THE THING Quarterly’s issue 23 is by LA-based visual artist David Korty. Each issue contains a set of six hand-made ceramic dice (made by Oakland-based ceramic studio Atelier Dion), a custom dice-carrying bag, and instructions for the game “Mr. Natural."

The game “Mr. Natural” has spread quickly through Los Angeles, taught by one friend to another and passed along accordingly.
