Disc Information

The P2 is a straight flying, but slightly overstable putter made by Discmania. This disc is stable enough that it can handle headwind throws and fairly long approach shots. This putter was designed specifically for pro players, but can be useful for disc golfers of all skill levels. The P2-Psycho is available in the inexpensive D-Line plastic, the mid grade P-Line plastic, as well as the high quality, ultra durable S-Line. The feel of the P-Line plastic is probably the most popular, as it feels similar to the JK Aviar plastic. Discmania claims that it gets better over time, making the P-Line arguably the most economical choice for P2-Psycho plastics.

My Flight Ratings 2/3/0/1N/A

Great driving and approach disc. I have the s-line, d-line, and p-line as well and this along with the S line are capable of holding power drives. Not a great feel for putting as I prefer softer putters, but a valuable disc for controlled short drives, upshots, and form practice.

Amazing looking disc. Probably the coolest looking stamp I've seen.

Beefy feel. You can really rip on this thing. I find my self using this disc to hit gaps in the woods.

Highly Recommend.

I got this disc in the hopes of finding an overstable disc I could absolutely rip on... Mission accomplished.

The overstability of this disc is great. I throw this off the tee as well as acting as an approach disc. The disc wants to be treated like a midrange in terms of how it is used. I have found that, unlike some putters, this disc has a definite fade portion to its flight. While some putters will like to simply tail off to the left (thrown RHBH), this one moves left and has a definite "crash" portion of the flight if not thrown super-hard.

For me, this disc acts as my most reliable upshot disc as well as inside-250 off the tee. I also love it for small, technical forehands through the woods. I have used it as a putting-putter in heavy winds as well which it seems to do well in, but as expected, putting in the wind is never easy.

My Flight Ratings 2/5/0/2Somewhat Beginner Friendly

The C-line P2 Skygod is arguably the best tour series putter ever released. It offers the amazingly comfortable grip of the P2 combined with a beautiful jolly launcher like plastic that is clear and very grippy for C-line plastic. The grip on the P2 is probably slightly deeper than you average putter and it sets itself up nicely to be power gripped. All Skygod p2's are C-line max weight.

This putter takes the already stable mold and amps it up to another level. The P2 is substantially more glide happy than you might expect and this variant definitely retains that. Where this mold differs from the normal P2 as a thrower is that it handles substantially more power in a much more controlled manner. If you saw one off with this disc it will definitely hyzer out a little earlier but if you treat this disc like a midrange you will be surprised every time with how controllable it is. The disc remains extremely versatile though providing you with enough stability to fade predictably but when powered up on can hold just about any line you want it to assuming you have moderate arm speed, some of the best sky anhyzers I ever threw were with this disc. It even works well for touch side arms and can be used in a pinch for windy day putts. Long story short, the skygod's versatility is off the charts.

The Skygod's wind fighting abilities are quite admirable it has enough beef to handle a mild headwind but not be totally knocked down by a tailwind. Not enough so that I would dedicate it to one task or the other but well enough to be used as a primary throwing putter.

The Skygod P2 is probably a little too overstable for beginners, as it breaks in it will be more usable but I would probably consider an P-line or S-line P2 first.

Overall the Skygod P2 is a really incredible disc it takes everything we have loved about the regular P2 as a thrower and took it to the next level. This disc unfortunately will be a bit harder to come by due to it being a tour series disc but if you happen to come across one pick it up because your short game needs to pay tribute to the skygod.
