PERFORMANCE BALCONIES GV Fireproof Glass Fiber Sheath +450°C - Fireproof Material - Fraying when cut. The product is pure flame retardant fabric, without any treatment. It can be impregnated with resins or paints directly by the end user.

It is a product made up of a carefully braided continuous thread of glass. The GV is a carefully braided glass sheath: it is fireproof, does not burn, does not give flames (total absence of any type of fumes) and is classified VW0. The Glass Fiber, built and designed in Italy, guarantees thermal insulation up to +450° C continuously.

It also has the ability to dielectric insulation equal to 800V. Ideal for application on cables and harnesses by passing the material to be protected inside the sheath.

The sock adapts perfectly to the conductors, exhaust systems and mufflers of racing cars and motorcycles, to copper or iron bars; it is particularly suitable for all electromechanical applications intended to be impregnated with epoxy or polyester resins, with synthetic paints and above all with silicone paints with which it has a particular adherence and excellent penetration in depth.

Available in various internal diameters from 1 mm to 130 mm.
