It is believed that Motormax started out as Zee/Zylmex as the castings are very similar with most differences seeming to be cost-cutting methods. Even the casting numbers are very similar (using a CP# instead of P#)

I always ship cars in a cardboard box! I usually use Uline 200lb crush-strength boxes (compared to the average 32lb crush strength). Each car is put in a thick poly bag to keep from rubbing against others in the same shipment
