About Artist :

Lu Yanshao (1909 1993), modern painter. Also known as tobe, words like Shanghai, Nanxiang Town, Jiading county. In 1926 admitted to the Wuxi art college, in 1927 admitted to the Wuxi Academy of fine arts learning, the same year from Wang Tongyu to learn poetry and calligraphy; the following year he Feng detached painting, and met Wu Hufan, traveled north and South resort. In 1956, he was a painter of Shanghai Chinese painting academy. 1962 College of Academy of Fine Arts in Zhejiang, 1980 formally taught at the Academy, and served as president of Zhejiang painting academy. He is good at painting mountains and rivers, especially good at playing with pen. He uses the pen, pen, pen and root to show the different changes of the natural mountains and rivers. Sparse lines show smooth move among force and soft. Water for the vast knowledge, there are ups and none takehide. Hook hook cloud water, vastness, steaming mist, a large space, with countless changes, and ink block method. It also doubles as figures, flowers and calligraphy. [1]

In 1927 Baifeng detached Yanshao division, and met with Wu Hufan, the two gentlemen, saw a lot of famous ancient artworks. During the Anti Japanese war in 1946, luyanshao mainland, return home. Prior to this, most of the work is on the traditional digestion and absorption. The experience of returning home to the Three Gorges triggered his consciousness of innovation, and began to transform the local transformation tradition into the conscious establishment of individual style.In 1956, he served as a painter in Shanghai Chinese painting academy. From 1961 to 1966, he took part in the teaching of landscape painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Zhejiang. During this period, his painting personality developed, and finally formed his own unique style in his later years.
