Description:

With this new advanced lens adapter, you can mount Leica R Mount Lens on Sony Minolta AF camera body. 

This fabulous adapter can enable the camera owners to increase the cameras' magnification and working distance.

 

Specification:

Make Leica R LR mount lenses can be used on Sony Alpha / Minolta AF cameras. 

(The original rear lens part need to be removed). 

Lens lock / release and stop screw

Allows focus infinity.

Auto focus (AF) is not available

Detachable mount, you must detach the R mount to install it but reversible

Camera:  Sony Alpha - A100, A200, A230, A300, A350, A380, A500, A550, A700, A900

Notes

When you use mount adapters, auto focus function does not work.

"No Lens" mode may be needed in some models of NEX cameras.


Expo-modes:

1. P (program) – identical to Av mode; 

2. Tv (flash priority) – doesn't work; 

3. Av (diaphragm priority) – works as usual; 

4. M (manual) – aperture and flash are changed. Inaccuracy of exposure defining is indicated by expo-correction.

       

Settings:

Put red marks of the adapter and lens collar together.

Turn the adapter anticlockwise till the fixative click.

Mosty it will use Manual or AV mode.



Removing:

To remove the adapter you should unpress fixative pin and turn the adapter clockwise.



Notice:

1. Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other function will not 

    operate correctly while using this adapter.

2. In this case "Stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens doesn't have the 

    ability to have its apeture controlled by camera body.

3. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode.
