1962 Fender Jazz Bass. Here is an incredible 1962 Fender Jazz Bass with a beautiful Lake Placid Blue finish and matching color headstock. The finish has greened in most areas over the years as is often seen on Lake Placid Blue finishes.

This bass has an amazing feel to it and sounds so sweet. The neck has a great naturally worn-in feel that can only be found on genuine originals such as this along with the highly desirable original slab board.

Neck has a pencil date of 6-61. Original frets are fine. Truss rod works perfectly so action can be set to your preference. Action is nice on this one and plays up and down the fretboard. Extra holes between saddle and tailpiece were for an original dampener taken off years ago. The bass had a crack on the low E side of the headstock but was professionally repaired as shown in the pics and is solid as a rock. Original electronics are all working well and pots are smooth with no scratch. Pickups are original and sound absolutely incredible.

Comes with original tan tolex Fender hard case. Ground wire on body shown in picture is also original. This vintage Fender Jazz Bass plays and sounds incredible with a tremendous range of tones.
