Kostikov 302 is a Soviet Tier VII fighter with excellent dynamics and speed. This is a unique aircraft, the main highlight of which is a hybrid power plant. A powerful rocket afterburner will provide you with fast acceleration, and underwing ramjet engines will create strong thrust - the higher the speed, the stronger. With such characteristics, great heights will become your element. Other high-altitude climbers who have climbed to your "working" level, you will be able to oppose good controllability at high speeds and impose maneuverable combat. In addition to good speed and maneuverability, we have 4 20-mm cannons that will help to quickly destroy the enemy that has climbed to our height.
Rocket fighter with a mixed power plant, the idea of which was proposed in 1940. Work on aircraft 302 was carried out in 1942-1944. A prototype airframe was made. In 1944, due to the unavailability of the engines, it was decided to abandon the further development of the project.
