Hello! Yes, I live in Ukraina. Yes, we are at war. But the Ukrposhta is working and I still pack neatly and ship on the day of payment.

- The small firm from Monaco is not engaged in mass production of cars, content with a tiny series of supercars every 20 years. It was that interesting: they recently showed a similar Zonda Rascasse working in a newspaper, and then, in the early nineties, delighted to publish this one. One of the most powerful supercars in the world, with a design that inspires, and with a biturbo V12 from the same Lambo, developing speed close to the records of those years.

In 1989, Fulvio Maria Ballabio has developed a sports car with a carbon fiber monocoque under the newly created brand MCA ( Monte Carlo Automobile ). The car born in Monaco, it was decided to name it Centenaire for the 100th anniversary of the Automobile Club of Monaco. Guglielmo Bellaci joined it with his experience as a F1 designer. The car was developed in 5 years. In March 1990, Guglielmo Bellasi traveled to Bologna to sign a contract for Lamborghini to supply its V12. In August of that year, the car was presented to Prince Rainier of Monaco, an avid car collector. Unfortunately for the MCA, the global financial environment meant lower demand than expected for this type of car; only 5 were built between 1990 and 1992. [1]

In 1993, a Georgian businessman bought the car and company rights and decided to race " Le Mans " with the renamed " Centenaire : MIG M100 " (MIG stands for "Migrelia & Georgia"). The experience turned out to be a complete failure, failing to qualify and ending up at best in 30th position behind the leader. [1]

Méga bought the project and contracted with SERA-CD to redesign the car, this time renamed Monte Carlo . Among other modifications, the Lamborghini engine was replaced by a V12 Mercedes engine . The car was finally unveiled at the 1996 Geneva Motor Show. The number produced is unknown and is believed to have ceased in 1999. [2] [3]

Supported by the family of Monegasque monarchs due to apparent insolvency, the company Fulvio our new sponsor is a descendant of ... of Georgian princes living all his life in Monaco, Alexander Mingrelia. Who, probably, was not allowed to sleep laurels of the Russian Prince Igor Trubetskoy - the legendary racer 40-50-s, also lived in Monaco. Now the "new" car and team must be not quite Monte Sarlo, but ... MIG - like the famous Soviet planes. Image, and Mingrelia: it stood for "Mingrelia and Georgia"! The patron himself, an amateur pilot, was part of the crew along with Ballabio. In Switzerland, the Americans Pierre Hszhneger, the Italian Giampiero Consonni and the French Philippe Renaud. MIG has shown unquestionably poor results in qualifying and was not even allowed to race, even in Le Mans. participants of the tour (in the 24-hour race are invited all cars, have some remote relation to the Grand Turismo).

The car was conceived to be impressive: carbon fiber monocoque and body, fantastic dynamic performance, price of half a million dollars, fully hand-assembled, limited edition of 12 cars per year! In general, "conveyor" Ferrari and all sorts of Lamborghini did not stand even close to it. Signature style: even a formidable get and own motor. Ballabio brothers bought back the rights to racing V12 and "opposites" from the famous Italian engine Carlo Kiti and his company Motori Moderni. The protruding F-1 units, which, truth be told, cannot be adapted to a road car. In addition, the Monte Carlo brand also promises to introduce a whole range of super-engines, supplying them in mass quantities to sports car production leaders, including ... Mercedes and Porsche. There was also talk of competing in Formula 1 with its own team.

The car unveiled in June has indeed undergone a number of changes, improved in aerodynamics. The Moderni engines, which replaced the former Lamborghini V12, did not even allow the MIG to qualify. Konsonni showed only 50th time, a week and nine seconds behind Ferrari and Porsche, respectively, 48th and 49th places, and the "Georgian" car was not allowed to start. MIG - disgraced by the famous aviation brand, once again attracted public attention.

After such a hard blow, MIG Taco still tried to compete in other races, but to no avail. An hour-long race in Vallelunga, Italy, however, they were no good.

The MIG didn't cut it short. "Mingrelia and Georgia" decided to justify its "aviation" name. And in 1993, agreements were made for a defense plant in Tbilisi, where there were indeed production parts for Mig fighters. In the new Georgia Automotive Mig Tako commercial companies are assembling relocated production processes in Monte Sare in MIG supercars, and will also set up carbon monocoque production in the aircraft plant. The whole world, and become contractors to the leading F-1 teams. Napoleonic plans!

Rumor has it that several M 100 Tacos were even assembled in Tbilisi, but only these rumors do not go beyond the rumors, there is no reliable information, alas.

It must be said that the history of the Monte Carlo brand did not end then. Among the brightest representatives of the late activity of the Princes factory is the all-wheel drive off-road supercar Mega Track, created jointly with the company AHAM. Until then, there were racing cars, until in 1996 were buried and buried MC with the ends.

Incidentally, the Italian firm Bburago seems to be the only one to have produced production MIG and Monte Carlo models, in fact was the title sponsor of the former.

PS Mingrelia and Georgia should have been on the list of the best sports cars in the world, among the top fifty supercars of the last century! The Ferrari testarossa car ended up in only 49th.
