Silver Plated Brass Whistle

circa Mid 19th Century

This is a beautiful piece, a brass, silver plated whistle, with the brass round snake chain intact. The chain is a fine one and also still has a loop at the end for securing the whistle to a button. Very nice original, some wear to finish. See photos. Size: 2.25 inches from ball to whistle tip, .5 inch across whistle, chain is 21 inches from the loop on the whistle to the button clasp.
