I found this in a local market in the emirate of Sharjah in the UAE, in about 2005. I was told it was old, but I really have no idea what age it is. It was rusty when I purchased it and I have not attempted to remove any rust or polish the copper overlay.

It looks as if there has been some repairs carried out over the years, the original stopper may have been lost and tin replacement was manufactured, there is also a broken chain unattached at one end.

there is also damage near the ring that doesn't have a chain, so please study the photos as they form part of the description
