This exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver biscuit box has a circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot.

The body of the antique biscuit box is plain and unembellished.

The upper rim of the box is encompassed with plain applied moulded borders to the rim.

This antique box retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with an impressive and large cast silver organic finial with a swept quatrefoil motif to the lower portion.

This exceptional silver box retains the original hallmarked latch and swivel catch; this catch indicates the high quality of the piece.

This antique sterling silver biscuit box is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
