This is our most loved and improved version and is almost a professional machine in quality; everything breathes quality and the dynamics are unbelievable. This is a very rare version of the N4520, judging by the extra transformer placed in front of the memory of the counter. Fewer than 100 of these were made! Can be seen by the text at the on/off button! This is on/stand-by.

We can also call this mint, but you can see it in the photos. We deliver this deck of no less than 25 kg for a small fee in the Netherlands and without coils (if you still want to email us, we will offer it at an additional cost)

The price, including the revision costs, is actually a bargain and the value of these types of increasingly rare top devices only increases further.

then we have received a message from Bert

Hello EUROMAXX, Here's a message from an N4520 restorer... The photos of this ad show a rare version of this deck. An extra transformer has been placed for the memory of the counter. Less than 100 of these were made!!! Can be seen by the text at the on/off button! This one is on/stand-by… it is worth mentioning for the enthusiast! Regards, Bart

Have a small Philips museum at home and have seen the N4520/22 for 40 years… Cool, do you happen to know if this model has a special name? A certain edition name or something like that No, it doesn't have a separate name… you can't even get it out of the type number. It is one of the last decks produced in Vienna (Austria). It should be visible on the production sticker (date), but that is also incorrect. Decks were produced later that did not have the counter memory transformer mounted. An advantage is that the decks with the counter transformer also have a better motor control! (One of the weak points of this deck). The transformer to keep the counter control under voltage when the deck is turned off, came after comments from the German trade press after test comparisons with Akai and other brands, which did have a counter memory in combination with a digital counter… Unfortunately, the Philips cogs turned slowly and this improvement only came into production at the end of the deck's lifecycle… . Thank you for all the information! no thanks, good luck with the sale!
