Up for consideration is a fine old Antique Georgian Hair Pearl Opaline Back Miniature Portrait in solid 14K Frame. The piece measures 2.75 inches in width by 3.75 inches in height and sports an opening at top to hang as a pendant. Overall weight is 75.34 grams... The Painting is well done and is in fine condition. The back sports hair embellishments with pearls with an opaline back drop. Likewise when the light hits the back one can see the gold work that has been worked to give off a pattern. The center is a bright cobalt blue Monogrammed medallion with silvered crimped back. Please note the adhesive let go and the medallion has dislodged it should be in the center but is not. I believe this can be fixed. The glass is in excellent condition. The fellow looks qutie handsome and distinguished and no doubt was wealthy. The piece really is a gem. Please see photos as part of the description. Buyer pays shipping.
