This tetsubin is a cute round tetsubin with a Temari motif.
Temari is a traditional Japanese round ball.

It is decorated with a simple and fine itome line pattern.
Itome refers to the pattern of lines on the surface of the tetsubin.
The beautifully simple Itome pattern is a traditional pattern that has been handed down since ancient times.

The lid is also decorated with the Itome pattern.

Nanbu ironware is baked using the traditional technique called kama-yaki to produce an oxide layer on the surface.
It leads to "rust resistance" and "water quality improvement" and makes tea and coffee taste better.

The water boiled in Nanbu iron kettle tastes mellow and sweet even when drunk straight.

This is due to the effect of iron leaching into the hot water, but in order for the iron to leach out, the inside cannot be enameled or otherwise treated, and rust is liable to occur.

The handle can be tipped down, making it easy to fill with water from the faucet, and also to be stored.

※It cannot be used with IH.
