NYSA A is the first Polish radar designed and built in the Separate Design Laboratory (TL) at Zakladsky Radio. M. Kasprzak.
Characteristics: Design work began in 1948. Designed and built in a separate design laboratory (TL) at Zakłady Radiowe im. M. Kasprzak, to whom a team of employees for personal income tax and the Department of Radio Engineering of the Gdansk University of Technology was transferred. In 1952, a radar prototype was developed, and a year later, its qualification tests were carried out. Start of mass production in WZR RAWAR. In 1953-54, 5 NYSA field radars were commissioned for trial use by the Polish Army.
