This is an original ship profile drawing of the  USCGC Bertholf WMSL 750, the first of the 418 ft. Legend Class National Security Cutters, by noted naval and aviation artist George Bieda, a retired US Navy Captain. In the drawing, the HAMILTON is depicted as she appeared from her commissioning in 2014 through 2021. The Legend Class replaces the Coast Guard fleet of Hamilton Class High Endurance Cutters. These cutters patrol the world's oceans performing their missions of search and rescue, military readiness, homeland defense, drug interdiction, and law enforcement, among others. Mr. Bieda uses his extensive knowledge of ships and aircraft and numerous reference materials to portray the subject matter as accurately as possible.  Each print has its own unique number.  The image area of the print is 11” X 15” and is printed on a 12” X  16.5” sheet.  The print fits nicely into a 16” X 20” frame, using a 2 ½” mat.

These prints make great Holiday gifts!

The prints are produced on high-quality giclee printers with highly fade-resistant inks (guaranteed for a minimum of 75 years) on heavy weight, acid-free, archival paper stock.
