This is a hard-to-find antique cup and saucer manufactured by Rockingham Works Brameld in England.  This backstamp dates this from 1830 to 1842 and I would guess it was made in the mid 1830's.  The backstamp also is also marked 'Manufacturer to the King'.  I am not positive on the pattern number but I believe it is 950 and it has a basketweave design.  The saucer measures 5.5" and curves up and stands at 1".  The cup stands 2.25" and is 3" in diameter.  So given the extreme age there are some issues with the set.  First please look at the first picture and you can see there is a small nick along the back of the inside rim.  The chip does not show well in other pictures and it cannot be seen on the outside of the cup.   The middle of the saucer has also yellowed as well as underneath a bit.  There is also some paint loss on both pieces but more on the saucer but I would say it still looks great for the age!  This is a great opportunity to get this rare antique cup and saucer.  Thanks for looking and be sure to check out my shop, not2shabbyshop, for more great finds!
