Published on the occasion of an exhibition at Pace/MacGill Gallery in New York City, Photographs & Drawings contains a selection of Friedlander's landscapes are paired with sketches of the French landscape by Post-Impressionist painter Pierre Bonnard. When viewed together, Friedlander's photographs and Bonnard's drawings illustrate the strong perceptual and stylistic bond that links two artists working in different mediums and in different eras.
