"George Phippen: The Man, The Artist" is a 143 page, oblong (12.25"x9.25") hardcover written by Louise Phippen and published in 1983 by Ralph Tanner Associates (Phoenix, AZ). This is the special, limited, numbered (#10) and signed leather-bound edition of just 35 copies. It's a look at the life and art of George Phippen, known for his representational paintings and sculpture depicting Western themes: cowboys, horses, cattle. There are reproductions of his work throughout, some in color. 

The book is in good condition with scratches to the front cover's leather, a couple small scuffs and indentations to the back. The interior is unmarked (other than the author's autograph), and the binding is firm. The original slipcase shows a couple smudges.
