The Singapore 5 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore between 2007 and 2020. This green banknote is printed on polymer and is 133 x 66 mm in size. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Singapore, a gold lion’s head, and a portrait of Yusof bin Ishak. The reverse depicts the Garden City, a tembusu tree at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Vanda Miss Joaquim flowers, and a lion’s head. It also shows skyscraper buildings in the background. The note contains a security thread that is shaped like Singapore island. It also has a watermark that reveals a shadow image of Yusof bin Ishak and a registration device in the form of a lion’s head. The note is signed by Tharman Shanmugaratnam. This polymer banknote is in uncirculated condition.
