Beautiful fine iron with granular tekkotsu & great patina !

Jidai (era) :  Early-Edo period 17th century




Motid design : Itomaki Karigane




Material : well forged fine iron plate with A very well executed & very-elegant

symmetrical sukashi / open-work to the space.

A beautiful deep dark chocolate brown patina mix with some fine-granular tekkotsu all around the edge.



Sizes : 3-1/4" or  8.2 cm  x  81.9 cm  

&

 Thickness : 4.8 mm thick at the center & 5.3 mm at the rim


Slightly dish-in =  thicker at edge & tapper toward the center



Condition : beautiful color/patina & in excellent condition with no damage !


No break, no crack, no loses & no repair = no damages of any kind & in excellent condition !
