1. Is there a way to get the drivers besides the disc? My CD drive is currently broken, and I wouldn't be able to use it for an install.

BEST ANSWER: The CD was the only way that I found worked for Windows. The drivers are not the standard Microsoft set that shipped with the original Microsoft 360 controller receiver (I've tried both). The receiver does work with 360 controllers but with its own driver.

However, in Linux it worked just fine without the driver CD, because there was driver support available.

BEST ANSWER: Yes, That being said it will not auto install. I had to go to device manager and update the driver from there. It should be yellow exclamation mark next to it. Tell windows you will select the driver yourself. Find the xbox 360 driver on list and install it.

4. does it work with android?

BEST ANSWER: Considering the device is isn't the best with its drivers, i doubt it. It works if on win7 if you force windows to accept them. It didn't have any android drivers with it.
