Beautiful antique and rare bronze medal of Locomotive Compound of 1930.
Locomotive Compound (Four-cylinder s in block) built in 1930 by Henschell & Sohn (Kassel Germany) for the company of the high border railways, where it had the number 101. It was part of a series of three locomotives acquired especially for the traction of fast trains (notably sud-express) along the difficult profile of the high border line. Of great power, they were the only protuguesa express locomotives equipped with four connecting axles. This locomotive can be visited in Vilar beautiful where it is erected as a monument.
