O FOCKE-WULF FW 58B-2 é um avião com capacidade para 7 tripulantes, destinado ao treinamento, bombardeio e patrulha.

A Marinha do Brasil operou estes aviões de 1939 até a criação do Ministério de Aeronáutica em 1941, ano em que os repassou para o novo ministério, onde foram utilizados até 1949.

O exemplar em exposição no MUSAL, único existente no mundo, número de matrícula 1530, foi montado no Brasil em 1941 e voou na Força Aérea Brasileira até 1949, quando foi desativado.

Original MPM 1/48 vac-formed aircraft model kit. This kit is old and rare. Like new in box, opened only for inspection. All vac-formed sheets in mint condition. Box is in fair condition, the artwork on the top is a bit scuffed. This kit contains styrene detail parts, photo-etched and acetate detail parts and vac-molded canopies, and a nice decal sheet by Propagteam. This kit is very nice for the vac-formed medium, and the only kit of this aircraft in the "B" model available in 1/48 scale. An experienced modeler can make this kit a thing of beauty, but it's definitely not for beginner modelers.
