You're looking at a VTG 1960's RARE MEXICO LILI LEDY RUBBER BLACK DOLL  AFRO-AMERICAN - SLEEPY EYES- COMPLETE OUTFIT. The doll was made at mexico by Lili Ledy around the 1960's when the girls toys were marked only as Muñecas Lili (Lili Dolls) and the boys toys were marked as Juguetes Ledy (Ledy Toys). It's made of a rubber or soft vinyl material. The doll is in good pre-owned condition with signs of wear as scratches, stains, bubbles, and light dust. She has a light basement odor. Her brunette hair is in good condition with no missing plugs, although it could be restyled; it has metal hair pins, which show some paint chips and rust. Her face is in good condition with some stains and scratches; her eyes outside areas have some brown stains all around. Her sleepy eyes are in great working condition with some scratches and stains at its color area; the lids are skin color, different from the black color of the doll. She has jointed head, arms and legs, they all feel tight. Her arms show some stains and scratches; some whitening bubbles stains. Her legs also show some stains and scratches with some whitening bubbles stains. Her body shows scratches, whitening bubbles stains and stains, especially at its upper body area and at its joints. The black or black brown rubber color shows at some areas like a dark green tone, instead of the black brown. She comes marked at the back of its head and at its upper body area with the blurred words: Muñecas Lili. She measures 10 3/4" tall approx. She used to be a squeaky doll, but is missing its squeaker at its back area. Her outfit, which I think is the original one although it has no tag, shows some signs of wear as stains, faded paint, creases, yellowish stains, tiny holes, loose threads and light dust. Her long panties show some red stains, yellowish stains. Her dress shows some yellowish and red stains at its creamy color areas. The organza with red dots show some tears and areas where the red dots are missing. The dress and panties area attached with a security metal pin, which shows signs of wear as rust and scratches. Her red sandals are in good condition with some scratches and light dust. I found it at a Mexican Flea Market.
