This portable Military grade, log-periodic,  7 element antenna will only work on 6 and 10 meters which makes it a great Field-day antenna. The boom and each of the elements are capable of being folded away into a 20lb 3ft bundle. The entire 2-tier boom section assembles to a 6ft long solid piece. The elements are friction-fitted into holders situated along the boom and between elements. This spring-cable loaded and friction-fitted design is what makes this a charm for portable use. 

The maximum rating of this antenna is listed as 65 watts because of the BNC connector and cable that distributes power to the top section. Most of the write-ups found on-line about this antenna indicate this.

This antenna has a mounting pivot that allows it to be positioned for both horizontal-SSB and Vertical-FM operation for both bands. The antenna must be FULLY assembled to work properly.

NOTE:

If you intend this for permanent use, you MUST supplement support to each of the elements with use hose clamps or other methods to secure the elements to the boom to withstand periodic wind conditions which will loosen the elements and thereby affecting operation.
