A crested china model of a black dog in a kennel with the words The Black Watch on the roof, featuring the crest of the City And Royal Burgh of Elgin. Marked Shelley China on the bottom. Has a smooth chip on the back of the roof. Otherwise in very nice vintage condition, the crest colours are all clear and bright and the gold edging is mostly intact. Please see pics.
The Black Watch is a pun on the black dog and refers to the Black Watch Scottish Regiment.
