This beautiful vintage El Degas guitar was made in Japan in the late 1970's. I own it since many years, although I almost never played it, cause I have more than a dozen guitars...
It plays beautifully, has a magnificent tone with those original Dimarzio hot humbuckers. the neck is super straight and the action perfect. The weight is well balanced and the neck feels confortable in the hand. All frets are barely used. All brass hardware. The bridge has brass saddles, with individual string adjustment and string-thru design. High quality tuners. The guitar is still in tune after not being played for more than a decade!!!
The model number may be 980 or just El Degas Studio. It might have been modeled after the Ibanez Studio model. This guitar is very rare. It's a real gem!
