The Eikon Basilike is a spiritual autobiography that has been attributed to King Charles I of England. It was published ten days after the King was beheaded by Parliament following the English Civil War. Of 290 copies of this particular publication, this volume is number one hundred and sixty five. A great collector’s item. Any issues with hinges or binding due to age or wear could provide an excellent opportunity for restoration and rebinding, if desired.
