Description:
A West German mid-century ceramic box. This rectangular box has a separate lid that curves downward. The pattern resembles a tortoise-shell with red spots accenting the surface. The underside is marked "533 GERMANY".
4.5” x 2” x 3.75”.
Condition:
Some of the gold accents have rubbed off. One spot of glossy glaze miss to the lid. Scratches present. Some crazing to the interior. Other age appropriate wear.
