One antique silver plated dome button. Very beautiful geometric design. Just plain Gorgeous.

The button is a rough cast dome with a wire shank rough soldered inside. The hole in the shank looks partially drilled or filed. Possible 1760 - 1785. Basing date on button construction. Silver was verified with a chemical test. The base metal can be seen around the edges. Please see the pictures for detailed examination.
