The Nepal 2 Rupees banknote is part of the 1995-2000 ND issues. It is green, light blue, and brown in color and measures 114 x 70 mm. The obverse side shows King Birendra in royal dress and plumed crown, the temple of Bajrayogini at Sankhu, the obverse of a coin, and goddess Laxmi. The reverse side features a spotted leopard in tall grass, a bank logo, and the coat of arms. This banknote uses a solid security thread and contains a watermark with a plumed crown design.
