An antique Japanese Meiji era tripod and covered enamel gilt metal ginger jar. 

The jar is enameled with polychrome images of a Phoenix bird, butterflies and blossoming flowers and foliage motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. 

The neck is adorned with floral and geometrical patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. Circa: mid 19th century 

Dimensions: H 3 3/4 in. All measurements are approximate.
