Assembly – The Bench Grinder and Polishing Add-On Kit are supplied separately. The buyer needs to Assemble the Polishing Kit to the Bench Grinder. Important : For Assembly Instructions and Kit Contents Please Read Assembly Below. Tools required (not supplied are a 19mm or an adjustable spanner and a Philips screw driver.

Please Note - the Motor will Run Hot. This is normal. The run time is around 25 minutes on using light pressure, allow to cool, then continue. Do Not Push Hard against the polishing wheels. This will strain the motor and damage the polishing accessories. Using Light Pressure with the correct polishing procedures will get satisfactory results.

Warranties
Bench Grinder. This bench grinder (not the accessories) comes with a 1 Year Warranty from date of purchase.
Flexible Drive Shaft. The Buyer needs to register the flexible drive shaft online with Toolstream / Silverline for a 3 year warranty within 30 days of purchase. If not registered then only a 30 day warranty is offered. Further information is shown in the operator's manual supplied in the box with the machine. The Flexible Drive Shaft must NOT be over bent as this may permanently damage it, invalidating any warranty.
Safety - When polishing using the spindle adapters attached to the bench grinder, suitable safety glasses, gloves and dust mask (not supplied) must be worn
Scratch Removal - If there are scratches in the item surface then a series of abrasive discs / pads (eg 500 to 2000 Grit) may need to be used first prior to the polishing process.
Assembly - The Polishing Kit is supplied separately to the Bench Grinder and needs to be assembled / attached by the following method.
Spindle Adapter Fitting
Once the bench grinder side guards and the grinding wheels have been removed (please note that the left hand grinder shaft has a left hand nut), the mop spindle adapters are then slid over the grinder shafts. There is a right hand and a left hand spindle adapter in the kit. Please remove the grub screws in the adapters first and then fit the adapters as far as they will go onto the shaft. Once fitted, reinsert the grub screws (one in each adapter) and tighten them using your allen key (not supplied)

2 x Bench Grinder Spindle Adapters. These are used to attach polishing mops to the bench grinder shafts.
1 x 6" x 1" Sisal Metal Polishing Wheel.
1 x 6" x 1" White Stitch Metal Polishing Wheel.
1 x 6" x 1" Loose Fold Polishing Wheel.
1 x 6" x 1" Canton / Swansdown Polishing Wheel
1 x 6" x 2" Soft Swansdown / Canton Polishing Wheel + Spindle Attaching Adapter
1 x Silverline Flexible Drive Shaft - 1041 mm long. 6mm keyless chuck. The Flexible Drive Shaft must NOT be over bent as this may permanently damage it, invalidating any warranty.
1 x Flexible Drive Shaft Adapter - for attaching the flexible drive shaft to the bench grinder shaft. The adapter attaches the same way to the bench grinder shaft as the spindle adapters do.

We send by overnight carrier and the consignment tracking number is uploaded to the buyer’s Ebay account. Please make sure there is somebody available to receive and sign for the consignment. The carrier will only attempt to deliver twice and if there is nobody there on both occasions the receiver will then have to collect from their local depot within 5 days.
