These exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V sterling silver candlesticks have a plain tapering square form onto a spreading base.
The circular bell-shaped capitals incorporate a plain square sconce to the upper portion.
The capitals are supported by square tapering columns, ornamented to the upper portion with an applied Greek key decorated border.
The lower portion of each column features a plain rounded knop to a spreading square foot.
The rims are encompassed with chased Greek key decoration, reflecting that of the column.
Both of these impressive sterling silver candlesticks have weighted bases and bear baize coverings to the undersides.
ConditionThese antique weighted silver candlesticks are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
Each component has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each base are clear in keeping with age and location, but remain legible.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of antique silverware.
