The new publication in the popular "Painting" series presents the work of Zygmunt Waliszewski (1897-1936) - painter, cartoonist, set designer, poster designer, one of the most famous representatives of the colour trend of the 1930s. 20th century. Waliszewski studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under Wojciech Weiss and Józef Pankiewicz, was artistically associated with the Kapists and Formists. He painted portraits and figural compositions with grotesque expression, and created numerous landscapes and still lifes. The mini-album, introducted by Światoslav Lenartowicz, presents the artist's most famous works: "In the Lodge", "A Feast at Benvenut Cellini" and "Diana and Acteon".
