Nurofen 200mg Tablets provides rapid relief from a variety of everyday aches and pains, as well as reducing inflammation and swelling.

As a legal requirement, we must determine the medicine we supply to you is appropriate for your personal use. How to use the product:

This medicine is for short-term use only. You should take the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve your symptoms. * Adults, the elderly, children and adolescents between 12 and 18 years: Take 1 or 2 tablets with water, up to three times a day as required. Leave at least 4 hours between doses.

Do NOT take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.

* In children and adolescents between 12 and 18 years: If this medicine is required for more than 3 days or if symptoms worsen, consult your doctor. Do NOT take for longer for than 10 days unless advised by a doctor.

If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor or a pharmacist.

Ingredients:

Each tablet or caplet contains the active ingredient Ibuprofen 200mg.

They also contain: Sucrose, Sodium Citrate, Talc, Croscarmellose Sodium, Stearic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Silicon Dioxide, Acacia, Carmellose Sodium, Sodium Laurilsulphate, Macrogol and Black Ink (contains Shellac, Iron Oxide Black (E172) and Propylene Glycol).

Side effects:

Like all medicines, Nurofen can cause side effects, although not all everybody will experience them. Side effects may be minimised by taking the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary. Stop taking this medicine and seek immediate medical help if you develop:

* Signs of intestinal bleeding:

- Bright red faeces.

- Black tarry stools.

- Vomiting blood or dark particles that look like coffee grounds.

* Signs of a serious allergic reaction:

- Difficulties in breathing or unexplained wheezing.

- Dizziness or faster heartbeat.

- Severe forms of skin reactions such as itchiness, skin rash.

- Swelling of your face, tongue or throat.

* Signs of kidney problems:

- Passing less or more urine.

- Cloudy urine or blood in the urine.

- Pain in the back and/or swelling (particularly in the legs).

* Signs of aseptic meningitis:

- Neck stiffness.

- Headache.

- Feeling sick.

- Being sick.

- Fever.

- A severe skin reaction (DRESS syndrome) Skin rash.

- Swelling of lymph nodes.

- Increase of eosinophils.

Hazards and cautions:

Do NOT take this product if you:

- Are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients or aspirin or other painkillers.

- Have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding.

- Have had a worsening of asthma, skin rash, itchy runny nose or facial swelling when previously taking ibuprofen, aspirin or similar medicines.

- Have had gastrointestinal bleeding perforation when previously taking NSAIDs.

- Are taking other NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs).

- Are taking more than 75mg of aspirin a day.

- Have severe liver or kidney problems.

- Have heart problems, high blood pressure or blood coagulation disorder.

- Have breathing difficulties.

- Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.

- Are under 12 years old.

* Check with your pharmacist or your doctor before taking this product if you:

- Have or have had asthma.

- Have kidney, heart, liver or bowel problems.

- Have high cholesterol or previously have had a heart attack or stroke.

- Have a history of gastrointestinal disease (such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease).

- This product is a medicine; make sure to speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you have an underlying medical problem or are taking any other medicine or complementary therapy.

- If your symptoms get worse or continue after taking this product, contact us or your doctor.

- If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor or our pharmacist before taking this product.

- If you suffer from any allergies, ask your doctor or our pharmacist if this medicine is right for you.

- Store all medicines out of sight and reach of children.

- Please read the included leaflet carefully before using this product.

- Please contact your GP if appropriate regarding this product.

Delivery

Once we have received your order, out duty pharmacist or a suitably trained member of the pharmacy team will contact you to ensure that the product is appropriate to use. Once we have spoken to you, your order will be shipped on the same day (if before 13:00) or the next day.

We dispatch orders using the Royal Mail service and various other couriers. Delivery in the UK typically takes 2-7 working days.

Orders are usually dispatched within 1 working day of being placed.

Our address labels are created automatically based on the address, which you enter, please ensure that this is correct.

The Royal Mail delivery service that we use classifies UK destination parcels, which take over 5 working days from the day of dispatch for delivery as "Delayed". At this time, please continue to wait for your order and it is likely that it will arrive shortly. After 15 working days from the day a UK destination parcel is dispatched, an order is considered by the Royal Mail as "Lost". In the unlikely event this occurs, please inform us and you will either receive a full refund or the option to have your goods dispatched to you again.

All of our products are shipped to you free of charge. Express next day delivery is available via courier at an additional charge.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
