Common name: Japanese Crab Apple A round-headed tree with arching branches. Produces an excellent display of fragrant white and pink flowers in spring, that open from red buds. Red/yellow berries follow the flowers. These are highly decorative and despite being inedible for humans provide an important food source for a multitude of birds and animals. Crabapples make perfect specimen trees and  are suitable for the smaller garden. They prefer moderately fertile, well drained soil. Our keen online prices are calculated to take account of picking, admin, packaging and labour costs and VAT in order to make it simpler for our customers to work out the total cost in advance. Shipping

We are happy to offer free delivery on our bulbs, bareroot stock and majority of other products. Your parcel will be sent either through Parcelforce or Royal Mail depending on the size and quantity of plants ordered. We recommend that you open your items immediately on receipt. Please note: There will be an extra charge for larger or heavier parcels delivered to all UK Islands, Highlands and Northern Ireland. We will be happy to quote for these, so do email us before purchase if you live in these areas. For example posting to Northern Ireland will cost an extra £8.50

Promotions

Any promotions e.g 'Buy 4 get 5th free' only apply when the customer buys all the items in a single transaction. If you have bought several items in separate transactions within a short space of time then we may be able to combine your orders and apply the promotion. However we will not do this automatically so please email us if you are in this situation.

Returns

We endeavour to supply top quality plants and bulbs but if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchases, please give us a call as soon as possible after receiving the item so we can discuss a replacement or refund. Occasionally items can get damaged in transit in which case it may be useful to email us a picture.
