The Laos 20,000 Kip Banknote was issued by the People’s Democratic Republic in 2020. Its obverse depicts the coat of arms of Laos, a portrait of President Kaysone Phomvihane, and the Pha That Luang pagoda in Vientiane. The reverse shows the Theun-Hinboun hydroelectric dam. The banknote contains a watermark that reveals President Kaysone Phomvihane and an electrotype 20000. It is 152 × 68 mm and bears a solid security thread. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
