This fine vintage Indian colonial silver pint mug has a plain tapering cylindrical form.
The surface of this fine example of vintage silverware is embellished with an impressive bright cut engraved crest depicting an armoured Rolls Royce and motto "Per Ardua Stabilis Esto"* - Steadfast Through Adversity.
The aforementioned heraldic markings are displayed above the engraved presentation inscription "Reunion Dinner, 20th July 1946, Pte J.F.W.Irwin".
This Indian mug is fitted with a plain rounded C shaped handle.
This impressive silver mug retains the original gilt interior.
The underside of the mug is fitted with the original circular glass base.
