Blumen vom Heilige Lande, Flowers of the Holy Land, Fleurs de la Terre Sainte, Jerusalem, circa 1900, olive wood with inlays, 11 floral arrangements, unpaginated,  7 x 4.25”, 12mo.

In good condition. Remarkably well-preserved. Lovely olive wood boards with inlay on front. Cloth spine lightly abraded with minor crushing to ends. Green end papers are slightly chipped with fading. Free of known markings or ownership. Floral arrangements are stunning and delicately achieved! Only a few have fallen from the paste. Minor toning throughout with a few instances of foxing. Binding tight and intact. All tissues guards intact. Very nice. Please see photos.

Lovely album of pressed flowers from Jerusalem intended as a Victorian tourist book. These items were quite popular as souvenirs in the 19th century.
