When small-town waitress D G (Zooey Deschanel) unexpectedly lands in the dangerous wasteland known as The O Z, she'll need the help of three unlikely friends and the great Mystic Man (Academy Award winner Richard Dreyfuss) to escape cruel sorceress Azkadellia (Kathleen Robertson).

Set in the spirit of L Frank Baum's classic, "Tin Man" follows the adventures of waitress / part-time student D G, a young Midwestern woman whose troubling dreams have summoned her to the doomed paradise of The O Z. When a sorceress named Azkadellia scorches the once beautiful land of O Z into a desolate wasteland, the only hope lies in an "outsider" named D G who embarks on a journey to find the great mystic man to save The O Z . On her way , she befriends a scarecrow named Glitch, a former advisor to the Queen whose brain has been removed; gentle manimal Raw, a psychic empath, and Wyatt Cain, a former policeman (aka Tin Man) who has been imprisoned in an iron suit, forced to watch his family's destruction time and time again.

Although parallels can be made to the original book, this story takes its own path down the yellow brick road.
